Back in Luxembourg in a new format, the Pitch Your Start-Up (PYSU) competition was organized on November 26th, 2019, during the first edition of Human Capital Europe, which took place at the ECCL.

During the morning, many startups took the stage to present their projects and innovative solutions focusing on SmartMobility in a dynamic session moderated by Patrizia Luchetta (Co-founder of Another Level Creative Group). The jury was composed of Jean Schiltz (Deputy Director Smart Mobility, Ministry of the Economy), Antonio Da Palma (Head of Mobility Technologies, Automobile Club du Luxembourg) and Olivier Klein (Research Scientist, LISER). The participants were Moovee, DriveQuant, Movesion, Roadlight, MileSwap, UPCITI, Motion S, BARO Vehicles, goFLUX and home2work. The jury members voted for UPCITI (a startup powered by RMS.lu, which aims at smoothing traffic and reducing congestion) as the winners of the SmartMobility session.

The session dealing with HumanTech took place in the afternoon and was moderated by Christian Scharff, Partner (People & Organization Leader, PwC Luxembourg). With the participation of Niaouli, MoodWork, P'OP, Mailoop, Bloom at Work, Youmonkeez, Adilson, Tribalee, DoctorPlus, Hunted, Speedernet and Pitchy. The HumanTech jury, composed of Marco Houwen (Tech entrepreneur and co-founder of the HOW Institute) and Dr. Jakob Mainert (Cognitive Scientist, author about human intelligence) picked the winning startup: Hunteed. The French startup has developed an online solution which manages outsourced recruitment needs.

The winners of all the sessions organized through the year will meet in September 2020 for the grand finale: the winning startup will take home the 50,000 euros cash prize. The next PYSU sessions will take place during FinWinter, on March 6th, 2020. More information: www.pitchyourstartup.eu.
